The Application Of Lightweight Mullite Insulation Bricks In Ceramic Kilns

The traditional ceramic kilns are mainly down draft kilns fueled with coal. In order to prevent coal ash from polutting the ceramic products, the green body should be pet into containers, but this will consume a lot of energy. Lightweight mullite insulation bricks have excellent performance in energy saving when used in ceramic kilns. 

Mullite insulation bricks can reduce the energy consumption and improve the service life and production capacity. When lightweight mulltie bricks are used, the total wegiht of the kiln can be reduced by half, which greatly reduces the pressure in the kiln. Besides, thwy has great thermal shock resistance and can be pre-assembled.

 

New mullite insulation refractories can be made into lightweight kiln cars. It can reduce the energy consumption by 15%. Since those kiln cars will be frequently in and out of the kiln, they should hbe of great fatigue resistance, while lightweight mullite refractories have great fatigue resistance. 

 

New lightqweight insulation materials, especially mullite insualtion bricks , have great promote the development of the ceramic industry.
