Do you know these application of refractory materials?

Refractory materials have been widely used in today's society. I believe that everyone has a certain understanding of refractory materials. Then, sunrise refractory factory will focus on the application of refractory materials.

1. Front wall and wall
The front wall of the glass furnace and the lattice wall have the same erosion and combustion characteristics. In addition, the front wall is subjected to erosion of the batch material and erosion of the leaking flame. It is one of the weak links of the furnace. Currently, cast AZS 33# or high quality silica bricks and sintered bricks AZS are used in these areas. The front wall is built with high quality silica brick and air cooling.

2. Burner
The burner is composed of a burner neck and a mouth brick. The refractory bricks used here should have high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and erosion and thermal shock resistance. Used in the production of natural gas (low heat load) fuel furnaces, silica bricks and large kaolin bricks; in high calorific value fuels (high heat load), Carter crown bricks, Carter sidewall bricks, brick bottoms, slanted crown anatomical bricks, brick tongues and The mouth brick fuel furnace is built with AZS 33#. The bottom brick can also be constructed from dense corundum bricks.

3. Special parts
In certain special parts, such as foam bricks, brick dams, electrode bricks, inspection holes and measuring holes have special functions and specific damage characteristics. The foam bricks are severely rusted by the fast circulating flow. Large temperature differences between the inner and outer surfaces of the foam brick can result in large mechanical stresses and cracks. Dam bricks will also be damaged by severe high temperature flow. AZS 41#WS can be used in both foam brick and brick dams. The electrode brick is severely rusted by the circulating flow. When cooled, there will be outer and bricks, which will result in large mechanical stresses around the holes of the brick and large temperature differences within the radial cracks. Therefore, the required bricks are corrosive and have thermal shock and high electrical resistance. In addition to the electronic nature, the conductivity of the glass and the arrangement of the electrodes should also be considered. AZS 41#WS, fused silica bricks and sintered dense zirconium bricks can be used in this section. Since the holes are inspected and one of the holes is subjected to long-term flame erosion, they are easily burned and cracked. AZS 33# bricks are used in this section.
